What is the best resort to stay at in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico?

I’ve been to Cabo before but have never stayed at one of the resorts. I want to stay close to the downtown area, we stayed 20 miles out of town the first time. By the way, I am going over New Year’s.

Well, I like Gaston’s place The Milagros – only it’s not a resort, and up a side-street.

I’m guessing since you said resort, you’d like one of the nicer places along the beaches.

Pedro’s recommendations are very nice – and while I like those, Pedro may not have your best interests in mind since his links pay him an affiliate fee if you buy anything…. (that bfast.com thing)

My suggestions would be (in this order): the Melia San Lucas, and the Pueblo Bonitos along Medano Beach (already mentioned).
